Frequently Asked Questions
Are your services covered by health insurance?
This will depend on your policy. Therapy is often covered but your policy may have a limit of funding per year. We have a team that will help you verify your insurance benefits and provide you with an estimated breakdown of co-pays. We also accept self-payment.
What can I do in an emergency?
Cayman Blossom does not provide crisis or emergency care. We provide education and wellness-based support. Your safety is our priority. If you (or someone you know) is experiencing any of the following suicidal thoughts, severe mental distress, or a crisis, we recommend you seek immediate help through a licensed professional or emergency service. You can contact 911 or go to the emergency room at HSA.
Do you offer online or in-person appointments?
Cayman Blossom offers both. We invite you to explore “Find Your Fit” to know more.
What to expect?
During the first session, the clinician will go through a comprehensive behavioral assessment with the person, which includes elements of traditional bio-psycho-social assessment also including behavioral interviews and questionnaires, observation in natural and analog environments, and self- and instrument-aided monitoring in natural and analog environments. There is also a strong emphasis on the direct measurement of behavior and events, such as behavioral observation, in contrast, or in addition to, indirect or self-report of behavior and events. We offer one to one sessions, group sessions, walks, meditation sessions, and so much more.
